John Barton Cameras: Fujifilm X-T2, Sony RX100 IV Location: Wigan
A former schoolteacher, John began to take photography seriously again when his retirement in 2010 meant he had more time to spare. He is a mirrorless camera enthusiast, and bought into the Fujifilm X-T series at the start, in 2014. Since then, he has steadily upgraded and added to his system.
John’s favourite subjects are landscapes, architecture and street photography, and his pictures have been shown on BBC TV. The opportunity to capture Oxford’s unique buildings and people was a challenge he relished.
