How to predict a good sunrise

There are many elements to take into account when trying to predict if you’re going to have a good sunrise or not. First, look on the weather forecast for clouds. The shot will work best if the cloud coverage is somewhere between 30 and 70%. Other things to take into consideration are humidity (low, but not too low), visibility (the more the better) and wind speed (best low). It can also help to enhance the colours if there has been a prior rainfall (ideally a few hours previously), but you don’t want this during the sunrise.
