This image stood out to me as a clear winner due to the striking composition, combined with the remarkable preparation of the model. I love the simplicity of the monochrome palette, drawing the viewer into the eyes of the model, with a strong use of dark tones there. Beautiful work.

I was drawn to this image for its simple, flat composition: layers of interest working horizontally through the frame, the cool tones of the hillside transected by the warm, dynamic flash of light. Simple and compelling, and thoroughly deserving of second place.

3rd Louis Bailey

This image makes excellent use of bokeh in a multitude of colours, plus light against dark to draw the eye to the model’s face, the light there framing the androgynous features. A futuristic and compelling image that makes you want to discover more.
