Whites

The Whites slider affects the brightest parts of the photo. Pushing it to the left can pull back detail that wasn’t previously visible. Raw files do have a stop or two of available highlight information, so this can save an overexposed file. Pushing Whites to the right will lighten the bright parts of the photo.

If the photo is underexposed, this can help lift it.
