Exposure

This lets you control the strength of the tools. It’s usually best to keep each low around 0-20, especially if you’re targeting shadows or highlights with the Range setting. This way you can build up the strokes gradually. Like all brush strength settings in Photoshop, you can press the 1 key for 10%, 2 for 20% and so on. Pressing any two number keys quickly lets you choose an exact amount.
