Brush tip controls

Like any brush-based Photoshop tool, you can press the ] and [ keys to change the brush size, and Shift+ ] or [ to alter the hardness of the brush. It’s usually best to use a low hardness so that the brushing looks seamless. Alternatively, you can hold down Ctrl+ Alt and drag for a handy on-image brush control; drag up or down to control brush hardness and left or right to change the brush size.
