Good, better, best
Three potent photo printers to suit every budget
Canon Pixma TS6150 £119/$45
This decent multi-function
A4 printer also does scanning and copying. It uses a general-purpose five-ink system but its photo quality is very good nonetheless and it’s inexpensive to buy, especially in the US.
Epson Expression Photo XP-960 £235/$275
The Photo
XP-960 offers a low-cost introduction to A3 printing, and it’s also a bit lighter and smaller than rival printers. The A3 print size is slightly smaller than the preferred A3+, though, and ink costs are higher.
Canon Pixma Pro-100S £359/$359
The Pixma Pro-100S is high-end A3+ photo printer that strikes a great balance between purchase cost, running costs, speed and print quality. We think it’s the best choice amongst the A3+ printers currently available.
