Panning is not as difficult as you think: follow these simple guidelines for great results. CONTINUOUS SHOOTING

Use the action mode or continuous shooting mode to fire off plenty of shots PAN SLOWLY

A smooth panning movement will help to keep the subject sharp while blurring the background – a great visual effect

SET YOUR SHUTTER SPEED

Use Shutter Priority for fast-moving cars. Start at 1/250 sec, then try setting slower speeds to get more blur in the background

Try to find a viewpoint where you can track the car before and after you have finished shooting
