Switch to manual

Your camera’s manual mode enables you to feel full control over what you are shooting. Almost every camera will have a variety of focusing aids. You may see a + symbol or a magnifying glass icon. Use this button to digitally punch into your shot before shooting, to check the focus is where you want it. This is especially useful for longer exposures.
