PRO TECHNIQUE USE A REFLECTOR

A small 12- or 20-inch fold-up reflector is a really useful accessory for floral photography. Light and easy to store in the front pocket of your camera bag, it can help you to take much better images. The most obvious use, of course, is to reflect or bounce light, and you can use it to modify the lighting on your subject by filling in shadow areas.

However, it’s equally of use as a shade or diffuser, preventing harsh light falling on the subject so the exposure is much more even. You can get silver, gold, and white reflectors; for floral work, a simple translucent white design is best for bouncing and diffusing natural light.
