Use the electronic level for perfect horizons

Many tripods have a builtin spirit level to help you make sure you’re working from a level base. But that doesn’t mean the camera is level on the tripod head. This is where the electronic level that’s available on modern cameras proves essential. Get into the habit of using it to ensure that the horizon is straight, as a slight slant will be obvious in the final image.

Straight up It’s particularly important to level the camera if you’re shooting a sequence of shots for a panorama.
