All you need is love
Scott Johnson explains how to make a big day out of small nuptials
For 15 years, I have been running The Edge Photography in Essex. I originally started my career as a cruise ship photographer, but really found my calling when I was given a chance to second-shoot for an established studio in 2004, just before I turned my hand to my ultimate passion: wedding photography. I was hooked, and have luckily never had to look back to the ocean cruisers since. I have become one of the most awarded wedding photographers in the UK, with a string of successes in the SWPP, BIPP and WPPI annual competitions, as well as my Fellowship qualifications.
As we prepare to open the floodgates to the wedding season of 2021 after – let’s be honest – the disaster that was 2020, it’s essential to hit the ground running and make the most of the opportunity to recoup much
of our lost income. These five tips will help you maximise the time you have with the couple on the day itself, and capture truly memorable images.
Whether it is a wedding of 15 now, 30 from 17 May, or hopefully unrestricted numbers from 21 June, these tips should give you the platform to propel yourself right into the summer, and for the rest of your career. www.theedgephotography.co.uk Instagram: @theedgepics
