Where’s the light?

Take time to think about your composition, including lighting. Do you want to be close-in on a person’s head and shoulders, or to include the surroundings? Should they look into the camera, or do you want a less formal, non-posed picture? Where’s the light coming from, and how is it falling on the subject?
