Second-curtain sync

Get more natural-looking motion blur with flash

-

If you set a relatively long shutter speed when you shoot with flash, you can combine a sharp flash-lit subject with ghostly motion blur created during the longer exposure. With a standard flash exposure, the flash fires at the start of the exposure, with blur captured in front of the subject. To record blur behind the subject instead, use second-curtain sync.
