New software performs as intermediate stage between capture and editing

This new product from DxO harneses the brand’s DeepPrime artificial intelligence to improve raw files before editing them in software including Photoshop or Lightroom. DxO claims a “revolutionary” improvement to digital noise reduction and more effective demosaicing when using PureRaw, which exports an ‘enhanced’ DNG raw file. PureRaw also allows you to revisit unusable raw files, or those taken on obsolete cameras, to give the captures a new lease of life.
