How to master the technique

Try starting with Shutter Priority and a shutter speed between 1/2 sec to multiple seconds – usually with the lowest ISO and a narrow aperture. Focus manually in advance or your camera will hunt for focus. Start moving the camera before pressing the shutter and continue after it fires to avoid judder. Be bold with movement.
