Pleasing composition

In photography, we usually rely on our sense of beauty. But using the rule of thirds can be a good starting point to produce images that are more appealing. Some images like landscapes might not have a ‘point of interest’, so divide your scene into three, then position place the horizon on one of the horizontal lines defining those thirds.
