THE FINAL IMAGES
After a week of daily photo challenges, this is the resulting body of work. Some of them are definitely keepers, but Liz learned something from making every image
1 Shoot a plant
These glowing backlit leaves, with their prominent veins and shapes, translate well to black and white.
3 Shoot a texture
This is a simple image of sunlight from my kitchen window streaming through a cut glass tumbler.
6 Shoot a cloud
I didn’t have my camera during a showery dog-walk, but shot this striking sky on my phone instead.
2 Shoot a shadow
Playing around with shadows from kitchen utensils on a sheet of white paper, I settled on using a grater.
4 Shoot a reflection
This grouping of candles is reflected in my kitchen window at night – simple but effective.
7 Shoot an everyday object
The reflections come from an LED light panel on a polarising filter and a shiny quartz kitchen worktop.
5 Shoot a structure
Initially I couldn’t find an appealing composition, so I used the gate opposite to make a frame.
