Andy’s four favourite images
Stanage, Peak District 1
I shot this wide at 10mm, taking it low enough to ensure that the millstones in the foreground were pulled through, to make sure the image linked to the purple skyline. 1/15 sec at f/11, ISO 100.
Mam Tor, Peak District 2
I saw a ewe and lamb grazing, overlooking the cloud inversion that was forming with the diffused golden sunrise. This was shot at 35mm with my EF 24-70mm lens, at 1/25 sec, f/11, ISO 100.
Winnats Pass, 3 Peak District
This image was taken using my drone. I like to use my drone to get a different perspective of a landscape that cannot be seen with a camera on foot. 1/1,900 sec at f/2.4, ISO 120.
Tryfan, Snowdonia 4
I set up this composition by the stream to give a leading line, and chose a slow shutter speed to blur the water. I’m hoping to go back in the near future to explore more of Wales. 1/20 sec at f/11, ISO 100.
