Go wide for impact

Get close, shoot wide and play with perspective in your seascapes

-

Every seascape photographer needs a wide-angle lens, but not all wide-angles allow you to capture dramatic images. Any focal length below and including 35mm is considered to be wide-angle – but for the most eye-catching results, a 16mm lens full-frame or 10mm APS-C is ideal, due to their ability to get close to the subject and exaggerate perspective. For the ultimate in flexibility, however, a 16-35mm zoom for full-frame or an 10-20mm APS-C are excellent lens options.
