And the winner of the Motion Blur challenge is…

In issue 242 of Digital Camera, we challenged our readers to shoot their best motion blur image. Well done to Tom, for ‘Bluebell Wood’. This is a fine example of motion blur by Tom. He has created a very pleasing artistic interpretation of a sea of bluebells, and wins a copy of Affinity Photo worth £49/$50.

A great panning technique on the motorcycle has created an atmospheric image, with the bike and rider standing out against the background blur.

3rd place: Marie Brook-Smith

Hats off to Marie for spotting the photo potential in this weathervane. It shows that even the most simple things can be used to create creative shots.
