Spire satellites
Mark A Hunter shares a quick and interesting photo manipulation
Turning your pictures into spaceships and satellites can be quite addictive. It only takes a few minutes in Photoshop – and, of course, the time to shoot some pictures of parts of buildings and architecture!
I have added a moon to this picture for interest – but, as you can see from the insert, it started life just as the top of a building. This demonstrates one of the tips I will share: elevation helps. Being straight-on to your subject makes the Photoshop process of selecting, copying, flipping and repositioning so much easier.
I’m the author of Creative Abstract Photography, and spend most of my time looking for inventive ways to produce and display my work.
