With volume 3 of 5 recently published, Power has covered 40 out of the 50 states – it is a magnum opus in every sense. Shooting large-format images of subjects that he often discovers on foot, rather than scouting them by car, the British photographer’s images are very immersive – so much detail is captured that it’s hard not to dwell longingly over each frame.
