Superzoom for Sony E-mount APS-C

Covering an effective focal range of 27-450mm in full-frame terms, this 16.6x zoom from Tamron will do the job of a standard zoom and a telephoto zoom combined. The optical design comprises three hybrid aspherical elements and four LD (low dispersion) lens elements, which Tamron says will produce the best image quality in its class. Other features of the 18-300 mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD include vibration compensation (VC), weather seals and a moisture-resistant fluorine coating on the front element.
