5 Invest in equipment

Since I shot this image, I have invested in a star tracker mount. Without one, you might be limited to shorter exposures due to the way the world turns, or have to composite multiple images together, like I have done here. The star tracker compensates for the Earth’s rotation, allowing me to shoot longer with a much-reduced ISO, which means highly reduced noise in the final image.
