HOW TO EDIT YOUR PHOTOS

If your captures look dull, this will make them pop!

1 First, enhance the brightness and contrast. To show the depth and contrast between each colour of the photo, as well as the depth of detail in the frozen water, I boosted Brightness to 51 and enhanced Contrast to 70.

2 Next, Curves – this is fine-tuning that will further enhance the brightness and contrast. Be careful, as you don’t want to over- or under-expose the image. This is why the curve is only bent slightly, just to lift the whites and pinks.

3 To push the image further, think about enhancing Vibrance. Use it sparingly, though, as you want to show off the authenticity of the flowers – pushing this setting too high will overpower the effect for the viewer.
