Bring sky and land together

This shot of Ashness Bridge in the Lake District started with the land and sky around 2-2.5 stops apart. By compressing the Highlights and boosting the Shadows in a raw converter, then applying graduated filters to the sky and foreground, the exposure difference was repaired to give an evenly balanced result.
