Sacrifice depth of field to avoid camera shake

When you’re including a white expanse such as inverted cloud, you may need to use exposure compensation to keep things bright. If you’re shooting in Aperture Priority, this slows the shutter speed, which can lead to blurred results with a telephoto lens, so use a tripod or open the aperture.

Look sharp When you shoot a distant scene, be prepared to open the aperture (to f/8 here) to avoid camera shake.
