Wet-plate collodion is a complex and somewhat dangerous process. If you are interested in giving it a try, I would suggest first reading a manual to understand the chemistry and equipment involved. ( TheScullyOstermanCollodionManual at www.collodion.org is easily the best.)

Next, take a practical course: this will demonstrate the dexterity skills needed in pouring and processing plates, and give you the chance to try it before investing in the necessary cameras, lenses and chemicals.
