4 Composition

While I was composing this photo, I decided that the flower lent itself to following the ‘rule of thirds’, as well as providing its own leading lines into the image, drawing your eye to the water droplets on the petals and detail in its centre. I wanted to keep the petals nearest to the camera out of focus so they weren’t a distraction.
