For street photography, it’s handy to take a small, light camera that you can throw about a bit without worrying too much about looking after it. The Fujifilm X-T2 is slightly older now (it was launched in 2016), but its image quality and colour rendition are superb.

Standard lens 15

The classic lens focal length for street photography is 35mm, but you could also consider a slightly longer lens that gives you more reach. The Fujifilm XF 56mm f/1.2 R gives a beautifully shallow depth of field, which is great for isolating subjects, but is unobtrusive on location.
