Light the scene

No matter how effective the Harmonisation Filter can be at matching two images, there’s no substitute for using a solid lighting technique at the time of shooting. If you want two images to look like they belong together, it helps enormously if the direction and quality of the light is similar in both. Here, both the toys and the figure were photographed with a hard light source to the right of the camera, in order to create strong shadows that fell to the left. This made it easier to combine them both.
