Compatible with all 3LT tripods, and those of other brands that feature a 3/8in-16 mounting option, the Levelling Base is fabricated from anodised aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, making it a lightweight and attractive-looking mount. There are two mounting options: one with a standard 1/4in-20 thread, allowing you to mount cameras directly to the Levelling Base, or the larger 3/8in-16 adapter, which offers greater versatility.
