How to get bright whites

-

When you’re shooting in snow, fog or mist, or faced with a weak wintry sky, your camera may underexpose the image so that it ends up too dark. The histogram should be towards the right of the graph when you shoot pale subjects, so be ready to use positive exposure compensation to bring back the brightness. In Manual mode, you can open the aperture, use a slower shutter speed or increase the ISO.
