QWhat’s the best way to photograph clouds as the main subject? Terri May
AI’m sure you have your own creative vision for this – but for me, it’s all about capturing the most dramatic clouds. So I’d be out on stormy days, or early and late for colour and underlighting. While you will get some awesome images just zooming in on cloud detail, I’d also suggest including things like the sun or moon coming through clouds as a focal point, or even shooting with a small strip of land at the bottom, then a large sky area above for context.
