“I don’t really like sitting at a computer editing images, so I have built up a very quick workflow.”

“All culling is done in Photo Mechanic. I concentrate on the image density and the light and shade.”

“Only images I know I’m going to edit are imported into Lightroom; there’s no ambiguity at this stage.”

“In Lightroom I rely on Smart Collections a lot, working through and flagging the kind of edit required.”

“I’ll then apply my own presets to the raw files, and that’s it – apart from a bit of straightening or cropping.”
