Q2 Monochrom gets Reporter makeover

Brand’s popular fixed-lens model receives Reporter colourway and Kevlar body armour

-

With its robust exterior promising reliability even in the most demanding conditions, this new model continues Leica’s tradition of producing special editions that will appeal to press and documentary photographers. The Reporter variant eschews the Q2 Monochrom’s standard leather trim for a special Kevlar ‘body armour’, and the remaining areas of the camera body are protected by a special dark green paint with abrasion-resistant properties. Inside, a 47MP greyscale full-frame sensor will capture unparalleled detail from the Q2 Monochrom’s fixed Summilux 28mm f/1.7 lens. leica-camera.com; £5,250; $6,295
