Mix warm and cold light

The lighting position was key here; moving the cooler light further to the back of the scene allowed slightly more of the warm tones into the image, with the cooler blue acting as a more subtle effect. Once Dan captured his main image he had a quick lens change to shoot some shallower portraits on the 50mm F1.4: “It’s always good to have some options in the edit.”
