Shoot in Live View – not every camera will have a flip-out LCD screen but if yours does, then use it. Experiment with your composition, as the slightest tilt can add or reduce the foreground layer that you’ve made the effort to create. Try a few different f-stops – anything from f/4 to f/11 will be perfect. Keep your ISO low to retain good image quality and adjust your shutter speed accordingly as you try out different apertures. I settled on 1/400 sec here, although with a stable platform you can easily shoot at 1/60 sec if you want to.
