Shoot in Live View – not every camera will have a flip-out LCD screen but if yours does, then use it. Experiment with your compositio­n, as the slightest tilt can add or reduce the foreground layer that you’ve made the effort to create. Try a few different f-stops – anything from f/4 to f/11 will be perfect. Keep your ISO low to retain good image quality and adjust your shutter speed accordingl­y as you try out different apertures. I settled on 1/400 sec here, although with a stable platform you can easily shoot at 1/60 sec if you want to.
