Intentional camera movement

This is a technique that changes the reality of what you see in front of you. The longer the exposure, the more abstract the image becomes. Understanding your subject and control is needed in order to maintain recognisable detail and form. Be prepared to take lots of photos. Experiment with different movements, focal lengths and shutter speeds, as all will affect your end results greatly. It comes down to practice, vision and creativity.
