Be ready to add some brightness to blooms

When you focus on pale or white flowers, your camera may reduce the exposure of the image. This can leave everything looking too dark. To restore the brightness, try dialling in anywhere from 1/3 to 2 stops of positive exposure compensation and then take another shot. Reset the compensation to zero before moving on.

Bright side To make images brighter, move the exposure indicator in the viewfinder towards the ‘+’ end of the scale.
