Dish - - The Business Of Dinner -

One of the old­est forms of pot­tery, earth­en­ware is pop­u­lar for tagines and teapots. Non-vit­re­ous, fine-grained clay fired at a low tem­per­a­ture – 1100°C or be­low. Known for its ter­ra­cotta colour, it looks sturdy but is in fact quite frag­ile so can chip eas­ily. A less suit­able choice for table­ware.
