Wellington retailer Cult Wine has launched its Auckland satellite store Cult Corner inside The Fridge & Flagon, Beer Jerk HQ, at 2 Shaddock Street, Eden Terrace. Cult Corner (@cultcrnr) will showcase 50-plus lo-fi and natural wines. “We’ve been asked so many times whether we would expand to Auckland,” says Cult Wine director Jules van Costello, “so Cult Corner will give Aucklanders a selection of these wines, all in one place”. The relationship between Cult Wine and Beer Jerk is a long one, co-hosting a successful annual wine and beer festival called Wild Stock.
