Grown in South Africa, clemengolds are a superbly sweet, aromatic mandarin. They’re macerated and vapour-infused alongside goodies like orange peel, cinnamon, juniper berries and coriander to create Clemengold small-batch distilled gin by Hope on Hopkins Distillery. Awarded a coveted double-gold medal at the Berlin International Spirits Competition in 2020, it’s now available in New Zealand in 500ml ($68) and 1000ml ($118) bottles at clemengoldgin.co.nz.
