When a new Katy Perry song sounds like it might be leftover from Miley Cyrus’ last album you have to wonder if things are not looking so good. Still, her first single, Roar, proved to have great chart stripes and while it does have a sluggish beat it’s going to be one of those songs fans love to sing along with at concerts. For her fourth album, Katy has packed away her garish outfits and toned things down a bit. Could that be reflective of her love life? She brought Emeli Sandé and Sia on board to give her more muso credentials, but Katy never forgets her catchy choruses. Now that’s the Katy Perry we know and love!
