It’s A Sin
7 (1987) Derek Jarman directed the extravagant OTT video about a misspent Catholic youth, which captured the Pet Shop Boys at their blistering euro-disco best. 8 (1989) A cover of a Stephen Sondheim song which they produced for Liza Minnelli, the boys did their own haunting take on it and even added in an evil scream. 9 (1988) Given to Eighth Wonder, the boys released their own version (with French bits!) on their colossal Introspective remix album. 10 (1985) From their debut album Please, this swoony ballad about schoolboys in love, or at least lust, was their most early overtly gay song. A forgotten classic.
