TROPICAL OMISSION In the article, The Yellow Line, no mention was made of Queensland having passed gay law reform in 1990 under the Labor Goss government. The article would suggest that it was still illegal in Queensland. A correction may encourage more gay people to migrate to this part of the world. Ian Byford

GREAT TASTE, MUM! I love your magazine and thank god for the digital addition. Living in the UK I can’t always get a copy of the real thing unless I make a special trip to London. Just writing to let you know you have a new reader. Today I let my straight mother of two take any magazine she wanted from a large stack about to be recycled. She had a good choice between a number of home, cooking and fashion mags and the only one she took was YOURS - #160! Peter White

REVOLTED BY RUSSIA Thank you so much for your continuous attention to the oppression of LGBT rights in Russia. I truly believe that if this problem remains visible in the Western media, the homophobic Russian government will be pressured to abolish the law that is frighteningly reminiscent of what was happening to Jews in the early days of the Nazi regime in Germany in the 1930s.
