At 25, Brit rapper TT (real name Patrick Okogwu) has become one of the biggies of the music world. On his second album he opts for boundarypushing as opposed to repeating himself in the style of his global bestselling debut Disc-Overy. Like a British version of will.i.am, he’s not just on trend but creating trends. While Demonstration is full of phat, futuristic sounds, there are also duets with Emeli Sandé and John Martin (last heard on Swedish House Mafia’s Don’t You Worry Child) that sound like surefire hits. To witness what all the fuss is about, catch Tinie headlining this year’s Future Music Festival ripping across Australia like a cyclone in March.
