Who knew that after all these years of tinkering away in pop’s backroom, Pharrell would have a trio of #1 hits (Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines, Daft Punk’s Get Lucky and his own despicably huge chart monster Happy) and suddenly become the biggest pop star in the world? Now it’s time for the man who has produced everyone from Britney to Madonna to get his own superstar shine on. While Happy features here, there’s plenty of other gems including guest spots from Pharrell’s indecently famous pals like Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys and Daft Punk. Not quite sure why the album needs to be called GIRL though – you make the call!
