SAUVIE’S ISLAND, PORTLAND, OREGON

-

Next time you’re out for a country drive in Portland, grab a wildlife parking pass and head to Sauvie’s Island where you can pick berries, walk a corn maze, gaze at nature and then join it at the nude beach. Oregon radiates luscious green during the four months of the year the sun dares to appear and locals get to flash their pale parts. At the far end of Sauvie’s is the clothingoptional Collins Beach, backed by a thick forest with plenty of shrubbery often right down to the waters of the massive Columbia River. Soak up the sun and watch freighters ply the river or meet friendly locals; some bring their boats and drop anchor all day. >>
